All over for another year, #ChallengeAcceptedAAC

Major Sponsor, Visual Approvals exhibited at the 2021 Challenge Accepted AAC Conference held recently at the Star Event Centre in Darling Harbour.  Following last year’s success as an online event, this year the AAC committee promoted the conference as a hybrid event with over 300 delegates attending and many more participating in the sessions via a live stream.

The team from Visual Approvals attended in person and were excited to share their latest concept in building inspection technology.

Visitors to the stand experienced the ability to initiate and proceed through an inspection checklist, take photos, videos and make notes all via voice command using hands-free augmented reality technology.

With this technology, onsite inspections are not limited to the availability of senior certifiers. Cadets can be sent to conduct inspections and remotely supervised through the in-built ‘Help’ function.  A Teams meeting can be automatically created so they can receive expert help from the office when needed. Certifiers can view remotely what onsite personnel can see, providing advice, guidance and assistance via live video feed.

The benefits of this technology were immediately recognised by those that tried it in action and agreed that this was the way of the future.
