and managers of building certification companies to start planning for 2022. Now is the time to review your business year-to-date, review your goals and budgets, and develop a revised strategy for the year ahead. Here are five tips to help you prepare your business and kick-start 2022. ### 1. Review the 2021-2022 Financial Year to Date The first step is to examine the success of the goals you set at the beginning of FY 2021. How successful was your business in achieving these goals? Make time to review and refine your plans to ensure they are achievable by the end of this financial year. Next, it's time to quantify revenue projections to know if they can support the remainder of the FY budgetary allocations. You may need to make fiscal adjustments if there is a variance between actual performance and financial forecasts. It would also help if you evaluated how your employees managed their time. Was everything done on time, or were some tasks delayed? If there were delays, you might need to identify time-wasting activities and automate processes.
