Registration is now open - VA 2019 User Group Meeting

The 2019 Visual Approvals User Group Meetings are just over a month away and registration is now open! This year, we're delighted to confirm a special guest speaker for both the Victorian and Queensland User Group meetings.

Erin Dunn - Client Manager & Building Surveyor Level 3 from GMA Certification Group .

Erin’s involvement with the construction industry began at a young age when she was encouraged by her father, a long-standing builder on the Gold Coast. In 2003 she embarked on her own career with project building companies where she was introduced to the certification arm of the industry. In late 2009 Erin joined the GMA team as an administrator and started working with Visual Approvals.

Beginning her cadetship in 2011, Erin completed her studies in 2015 gaining an accreditation as a Building Surveyor Level 3 in 2016. Throughout this time Erin developed her knowledge of Visual Approvals software from both the administrative and technical perspective realising the benefits to the role of a Private Certifier. Erin is currently the Client Manager of GMA and a key responsibility of her role is the delivery of excellent customer service through smooth and accurate processes.

One such process was the implementation of Local Government checklists. The technical officers use these checklists to complete assessment checks against applicable planning scheme criteria. It involved the creation of new and linked checklists for multiple local governments while maintaining an easy straightforward ongoing management of checklists.

We’re very excited that Erin will demonstrate this functionality during the 2019 User Group Meetings, sharing her expertise to assist others in the certification practice.
