Visual Approvals goes cruising with CPD Solutions

What better way to earn those CPD points than with CPD Solutions Industry Networking & Training Event of the year while cruising the beautiful Whitsunday’s. Organised by Michelle Meek, 170 delegates, sponsors and families set sail from Brisbane on Friday 5th October for 4 days of seminars, networking, training and social engagements. As the major sponsor, Visual Approvals’ Director Andre Chevallier-Knospe was in attendance and met with many delegates during the welcome drinks at The Dome. The scavenger hunt was a great fun activity for those not involved in the sessions on Saturday morning. Teams were awarded points for a variety of activities across the ship including a group photo in front of the Visual Approvals banner preferably with Andre in the shot (see photos below).

It was a glorious Sunday morning arrival into the Port of Airlie. A leisurely day was spent wandering through the township, with a visit to the lagoon and beach not to be missed.

The seminar recommenced in earnest on Monday morning and in the afternoon Andre addressed the delegates. He explained why Visual Approvals implements a series of checks and balances throughout the application process. He stressed the importance of implementing process to help minimise your risk and adhere to current legislative requirements.

CPD Solutions End of Year Event

The final Industry and Training event for 2018 takes place this coming Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd November, 2018. Held at the Riverview Hotel Brisbane, the event consists of 12 hours of technical training across the two days.
