The NSW Government is changing the way accredited certifiers and local councils are required to report data on building certification. The aim of this change is to streamline and standardise the format of data reported to the Government on development and construction activity across NSW.
Software providers have been urged to update their systems by May 1st to enable their clients to meet the new reporting requirements.
Visual Approvals is currently engaged with the NSW Building Professionals Board and we are undertaking the API development required to support these changes.
Will you be ready for the NSW Certification Data Reporting when it is introduced later this year? Although not confirmed, the NSW BPB have indicated that July 1 is the likely mandatory reporting date.
