Do I need my own server?
No, Visual Approvals offers a cloud-hosted solution in Microsoft Azure Data Centre based in Sydney that is replicated in real-time in Perth.
Does Visual Approvals have 2-factor authentication?
Yes, when logging in, VA identifies the user's domain and sends a one-time password (OTP) code that is valid for 15 minutes. Once the OTP is correctly entered, the user can access VA.
Is it possible to log in to Visual Approvals using my Gmail, G Suite, or Google Workplace account?
No, we do not use any Google services in conjunction with Visual Approvals.
Do you offer an inspection service?
Yes, we have a Visual Inspector app that can be downloaded from the Apple store. The app can be used both online and offline, and the results automatically sync with our Visual Approvals software application.
Are you able to connect with the NSW Planning Portal?
Yes, we offer a real-time integration service to our users, allowing them to import Planning Portal applications directly into Visual Approvals as soon as they are received on the PP portal. Our import process downloads all associated documents and Visual Approvals manages all related applications within a single VA Building Application.
Do you have the capability to connect with accounting software?
Yes, Visual Approvals seamlessly integrates with Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
Can I convert a quote into a Building Application?
Yes, a previously saved quote can be converted to a building application through the quote conversion wizard.
Do you offer client reporting services?
Yes, Visual Approvals provides a variety of client reports. For instance, there is a report that displays all the pending items per building application, which can be forwarded to project home builders for their necessary action.
